  1. Planning out content is the way to go.
  2. When the idea is already there wiriting does not seem as daunting.
  3. Pictures are a must. But sometimes you have to go without.
  4. Missing one upload does not mean the whole blog is doomed without redemption.
  5. It helps to have some type of ongoing series on the blog. That way if you don't know what to do, you can work with an already familiar concept.
  6. It helps to have a content guideline (eg. I have a blog about books!) but shaking things up does not hurt.
  7. Do it for you. For no one else.
  8. Clicks and views mean shit. Your self-worth is more that just a number.
  9. Do not be so hard on yourself. Mistakes are human.
  10. It is ok to be afraid of judgement and criticism.
  11. Just don't let the fear get in the way.
  12. People aren't  as harsh in their opinion as you imagine they will be.
  13. You are your own worst critic.
  14. Sometimes it is better to upload something you are unhappy with than to not upload.
  15. Sometimes it is better to not upload than to upload something you are unhappy with.
  16. Some Ideas have to wait until your skill is better.
  17. Otherwise they will turn out rubbish and you will be disappointed.
  18. It is ok to seek inspiration.
  19. BUT: give credit where credit is due.
  20. A good name and design are important.
  21. But it can take some time to find the right fit for you.

  23. Wiriting takes time.
  24. Often more time than you planed.
  25. Google is your best friend if you are writing in a language that is not your native.
